Studio Updates

As of July 3, the Governor mandated the wearing of masks while in businesses and where you can not adhere to social distancing. With the studio abiding by social distance guidelines, no masks are required while practicing, but requested to be worn entering and leaving the studio.

POLICY/GUIDELINES: Read full document here.

Note: these are subject to change at anytime and as needed to comply with standards/guidelines recommended and/or by local, state, and federal government.

  • Those entering the studio must maintain social distance requirements (6 feet separation) from other individuals not within the same household. We ask that everyone be mindful and considerate of others around you. Therefore, no hands-on adjustments or other touching will be allowed.

  • Practice measures such as hand hygiene, cough etiquette, cleanliness, and sanitation while at the studio.

  • Self-screen for any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms before coming to class: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.00 degrees Fahrenheit, and/or known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19. If ANY of the symptoms apply to you, DO NOT attend class.

  • Wipe down anything you may have touched as you arrive and before leaving including door knobs and items on the desk, area around and under your mat, etc.

  • Follow ALL incident response protocols outlined in policy.

IN-STUDIO CLASSES

  • In order to comply with social distancing, only six (6) members will be allowed in the studio with the instructor. Therefore, students MUST sign up for each class and no walk ins will be allowed. You may register for classes through the link on the Schedule page of the website.

  • Those entering the studio must maintain social distance requirements (6 feet separation) from other individuals not within the same household. We ask that everyone be mindful and considerate of others around you. Therefore, no hands-on adjustments or other touching will be allowed.

  • Upon entering please remove your shoes, leave them by the door, and go to a designated practice area and wait on your mat for class to start. Please minimize the number of personal belongings you bring to the studio and take them with you to the designated area.

  • Students will disinfect their mat, area, and props before and after each class.

  • Do not congregate in the lobby area before or after class as this will be used as a practice area.

  • Students will sanitize hands upon entering and leaving.

  • Students must wear masks when entering and leaving studio, but not required while practicing.

  • Restroom Use. Please spray or wipe down all surfaces touched with disinfectant, including toilet seat, water faucet knobs, and door handles on both sides of door, that way surfaces are disinfected between each person.

  • The studio will be regularly and frequently cleaned and disinfected including touched surfaces, doorknobs, and restrooms. Signs will be posted throughout the studio.

ZOOM LIVE CLASSES

  • Zoom live classes will be offered in addition to in-studio classes. We realize that not everyone is ready to come back to in-studio classes. Therefore, we have set up a special membership that will allow you to have access to unlimited live ZOOM classes, as well as a private YouTube Channel. Please email management if you are interested in this membership. The private channel is available to the first 50 memberships.

  • Students will be able to sign up for these classes up to an hour before class start time.

PROPS

We ask all students to begin using and bringing your own props. If selective classes choose to use props, students MUST follow guidelines set forth in the policy.

CLASS TIMES

  • We have changed times of some of our evening classes as well as removed a few at this time to allow for the studio to be fully cleaned and disinfected daily.

  • Classes are all now one hour.

  • Please pay close attention when you register for a class and know if you are registering for an IN-STUDIO class or ZOOM LIVE class.

  • Students will need to sign up an hour before class start time except the 6:00 a.m. Monday/Friday. For the 6:00 a.m. class, students need to register by 10:00 p.m. the night before to ensure an instructor will be there.
